Welcome to my online diary, enjoy your stay!
In November 2005 whilst home recovering from an operation I decided to try and design a web page for White Springs Fisheries in Pontarddulais I soon started adding info on the fishery website page of my community activities, but as I got more and more involved in community projects, I decided to start this blog in order to keep my community activities and involvement seperate to the fishing. You can email me with comments at slloydjanes@aol.com

About ten days ago I had a phone call from S4C from a presenter who asked me could i provide JPEG Images of the photos that i've added to the http://www.hendypoolandbothsides.org.uk web site and could i provide some names of some welsh speaking people who would like to share some of their fond memories with a tv aduience as the they would like to make a short film about the loss of the hendy pool battle
by friday of last week there were lots of locals ready to share their stories and the S4C film crew spent all day from 10am until 4.30pm interviewing people and filming stories about the pool and the tv programme went out on air Monday night just gone at 7pm on the programme Wedi7
