letters in the press

I've already covered this topic earlier, but they finally printed my letter in the carmathen journal this week.

I wrote a letter in response to plaid cymru screaming about secrets being kept from them and their disapproval of the assembly's request to improve schools

If you can read the photo above the oposition states
"plaid cymru has not supported these plans in any way at council level or assembly level"

My letter that was printed this week is some what shorter than the original sent but it still gets the message across

I HAVE been following the debate about restructuring schools in Carmarthen, and I am shocked at Peter Hughes Griffiths's comments.

In his letter (Journal, January 28th , he denies Plaid's involvement.

As a new councillor, I attended a seminar in September 2008. There were representatives from the Assembly Government and schools. Assembly officers held discussions on draft ideas and options ready for consultation.

Peter Hughes Griffiths put out press releases attacking the council's executive board claiming secrecy.

Having done internet research, it seems the only people who have been working in secrecy are Plaid AMs. It seems it's Plaid's leader, the Deputy First Minister, who had not informed the Plaid councillors, because on the Assembly website there is an article explaining the scheme.

And here's the assembly link which clearly states that the deputy first minister who is Plaid had input into the guidance
