Police Community Pact Meetings

I had a decision to make today after Nia Griffith MP gave me a ring about a case she was working on in Hendy, she asked was I attending her Public Meeting consultation on care for the eldery

Unfortunately it clashed with the monthly PACT meeting which I attended instead.

Last month there had been three councillors including myself, this month I was the only councillor to attend, until the very end, it started at 6pm and at 6.40pm one of the Llangennech councillors turned up just as we were summorising the priorities for the month.

There were quite a few from the Hendy area as there were mainly Hendy residents present

Next month because it falls on a bank holiday they will be moving it to a Tuesday as a one off.

The Community Seargent stated that there's an article on the community policing team appearing shortly in the Star, highlighting their key priorities and how the team work etc and he stated they would use the Star to advertise the change of date next month

Tommorrow it will be the last Hendy Pool Meeting before the public meeting is held which will be held later this month, we are hoping to finalise all the organising of this public meeting at the monthly Hendy Pool Committee.
