usdaws magazine

Was just reading my emails, (as i had about fifty to sort out in my inbox), before i went out to deliver some more both sides news letters and labour rose about tommorrow's meeting, when Usdaw central office rung me www.usdaw.org.uk

The gent on the phone said he was going to use some photos of me in the next edition of the unions magazine sent to members? he started describing the photos and it turned out he had lots

there was the one from the promotion of the respect sign that Tesco's stuck up at customer service with Gavin and myself  and the Llanelli MP Nia Griffith, i had posted the photo on my blog in april

http://grasscarper.bravejournal.com/archive/04/17/2007

Then he had one of myself and Bippin from the llanelli branches 30 years service award presentation. The branch held an evening for three members from the Ammanford Co-op

Then he had photos of myself and Gavin when we attended the last spotlight day at Tesco Portalbot, with several of the reps from the Portalbot Store. Haven't seen those photos, but memories came flooding back from the twelve weeks that Gavin and myself done.  I did put an entry about our day on my blog back in March

Hendy's Labour Rose Spring 2007

Buses ,traffic and parking on Iscoed Road

In response to concerns raised by local residents, and businesses, your local Labour Party team have arranged for Mr John McEvoy, the County Council’s Traffic Management Operations Manager to visit Hendy on Wednesday 13th June at 2pm to discuss traffic related issues.

You are welcome to meet Mr McEvoy at 2pm on Iscoed  Road (by the bus stop near Harleyford Road)

Hendy Park

Last September children’s play equipment was removed from the park for reasons of safety.

Your local Labour Party has been concerned about the time it has taken to reinstall play equipment in the park.   Cllr Steve Lloyd–Janes and Nia Griffith MP have both been pursuing this matter and have been told that brand new play equipment is to be installed in June.
