a day out in bristol

After Tuesdays meeting with the consultants on tuesday, the committee decided they were happy with their tender and decided to forward the selection to the next stage

which was to invite the county council representatives to meet them to clarify the process and time scales and if the county were happy the company would be appointed and awarded the job.

Wednesday saw me leave the house early to go to bristol for a meeting with tesco usdaw reps, the meeting was very informative,

the weather wasn't the best and the traffic was horrendous, going up and coming home, there was a four mile tail back in the opposite direction

there were road works and the outside lane in my carriage way had single file traffic from the other direction and a land rover had broken down, the recovery were putting them onto the back of thier lorry as i passed, but the traffic was parked bumper to bumper waiting for the obstruction to be moved

i went from bristol to amandas, she was home from work long before i get there as i didn't leave the usdaw bristol office till gone 4.30pm
