busy week commencing

Today I went to strim around the edge of my lawn and I  suddenly realised i had left my strimmer up Amandas.

I've also got a megga busy week again this week and i've just sent my appologies to two organisations and meetings, as i can't attend, due to other engagements and meetings. One of the meetings is for the Llanelli Citizen's Asvice and the other was with the consultants for the pool.

On top of several meetings that i can attend, we've also got 1,000 leaflets to distribute this week to every household in the village, which we were starting tommorrow.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The above photo was taken during the Air Ambulance fund raising event held at the Red Lion and features on the front page of the news letter being delivered, there's also details about other events and community meetings taking place over the next few weeks, and our survey's that we've commissioned are inside the news letter.

One of these surveys is collecting info about residents concerns around the post code row, the other is being conducted by the Scouts and is aimed at youth facilities, this second survey is really important, as the Scouts have won lottery funding as its their 100th year, and if there is a favourable response to this survey and it shows the need, the scouting movement might choose pontarddulais and hendy as one of their target areas to spend some of their grant to improve faclities in the community.

The Scouts will also have a second survey, that the schools will be helping to complete with yougsters views, the results of these surveys will also be shared with the hendy pool feasibility and business study

So please complete and return to one of your local post offices

Just spoke to Amanda as i was working on this entry and she said she would fetch my strimmer with her on Sunday, so i wouldn't be able to have an exuse, of not mowing my lawn. There's no piece for the wicked

Who knows if i win the lottery tonight maybe i will then afford to employ a gardener or better still give up work
