Tonight i called in the local scout hall, the scout master Simon had sold some christmas cards for the Hendy Pool and on previous visits that i had called, he had not been available due to working commitments,

In all honesty i had only called three times, as I had always been busy doing other stuff but was free this evening and Simon was there, local artist Heather Hopkins had donated two of her paintings to make a set of Christmas Cards and we had offered several local youth organisations the chance to make some funds by offering them the cards at a discounted rate, so the Scouts benefited as well as the Pool.

I then went and attended the annual general meeting of the local carnival organisation, i had never attended one before and it was quite interesting to hear about all the plans that they have. It really is going to be something special, there's already 18 stalls booked for the field and 11 floats

Whilst there Anthony had taken Both Sides and only a small percentage had recieved a copy, we haven't finished posting in the Hendy yet as it has been raining constantly so we've kept on cancelling our leaflet drop session. I was promised some info for the next edition of both sides and i was later emailed some info about the Pontarddulais Male Voice Choir to promote in my next weekly article for the Llanelli Star
